The Royal Sonesta Chase Park Plaza St. Louis

This incredible hotel is the perfect venue for an event in St Louis. The event management crew is amazing to work with (special shout out to Katie and Haseeb!), and everyone at the hotel is wonderfully helpful, accommodating, and willing to work with the evolving requests from our group. The property is gorgeous, the Empire Room is a beautiful space for a catered meal, and the catering itself is phenomenal. You can also expect the warmest welcome of your life from Brenda each morning at breakfast, which is the most amazing way to start your day!

Nice hotel and conference center. Good restaurants although pricey. Excellent service. Everyone is kind and helpful. Rooms very greatly as us historic hotel. Some are small and simple others much larger with more room to relax or even entertain. Very accessible in a lovely area.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The manager, Caitlyn, and Anthony from security went above and beyond to help me locate my phone and personally ensured it was returned to me safely. I truly appreciate their professionalism, dedication, and kindness.

We absolutely loved our stay! Especially the fabulous pool area. Everyone was super helpful and friendly. The concierge, Pamela, was very caring and attentive. I highly recommend this hotel as a destination especially if you love Old World Glamour. We look forward to our next visit!

Royal Sonesta Chase is apparently an old StLouid staple with a millennium twist. It is beautiful inside and out. The rooms are SUITES! I love that microwaves are in the rooms. Spacious comfortable clean and inviting. Today is my first stay but it definitely will not be the last. The Preston is a restaurant in the hotel as well as the Chase. The Chase is more for the sports bar and grill enthusiast. The Preston is medium fine dining. Wanted to try the Scallop Ceviche but they were out until 730. OMG! There is a whole movie theater inside the Sonesta that runs multiple showings of current films throughout the week!! $14 gets you popcorn drink and movie!! Better than Netflix and chill

My first stay. The staff are friendly, concerned and helpful. They took photos for us. Edward who works in the Preston was very kind, and he went out of his way to make sure I had fresh coffee, helped me select my breakfast and was truly helpful. Thank you,Edward! I'd give you 4 stars as well.

My wife, one year old, and I just finished up a four night stay at The Royal Sonesta Chase Park Plaza (that's a mouthful). The hotel interior was beautifully decorated for Christmas which we definitely enjoyed as a first impression. The folks at valet and check in were polite, and helpful. Our room, a Chase One Bedroom was very nice. We need the extra space in order not to have to share a sleeping space with the child. The sitting area of the room was a bit small, but still well appointed. The bedroom area was very large and had a simple yet functional bathroom. Not really a complaint, but I do feel the bathroom was a bit standard compared to the higher end feeling room. We ordered room service on a couple occasions. The food always came quickly and was fantastic. I was a bit unhappy with there being both a 20% gratuity AND delivery fee added. I feel like it should be one or the other. I felt awkward about whether or not I should tip the delivery people bringing the food. It just felt a bit like I was being nickel and dimed on that front. My wife used the gym which she stated was large and nice enough. We did not use any other amenities as we were in town to visit friends, plus we had the baby and couldn't spend any time at the bars/restaurants. One final note, the price was great. A large room in a luxury hotel with room service a couple times and valet every night ended up being about $1700. For off season, I think that is quite reasonable. Oh! One last thing. I was a little annoyed that I was denied a luggage cart upon checkout. I was told I HAD to utilize a bellman. Thats odd and inconvenient if I prefer doing some things on my own. In summary, dont hesitate to book. We will likely book here again when we come back to the area.

Lovely stay. Great location. Helpful staff. Small things wish they had pillows on the couch, very starchy sheets, with 125 channels on the tv it would be nice to have a guide showing programs not just the channel.
